Colbert Heights 31, Carbon Hill 8
Colbert Heights scored a pair of first-quarter touchdowns and made the lead stand in a 31-8 victory over the Bulldogs on Friday night. The Wildcats led 13-0 at the half and pushed the lead to 19-0 in the third quarter.
Brody Teeter shined in the loss for the Bulldogs (1-1), rushing 13 times for 142 yards with a touchdown and a 2-point conversion run. He also caught a pass for 11 yards. Defensively, Austin Hart led Carbon Hill with 12 tackles while Teeter had 11 tackles.
Carbon Hill (1-1) travels to Oakman next week.
