So in years past the state championship game has rotated between Bryant-Denny Stadium, Jordan Hare Stadium and also recently Protective Stadium but with the expansion to the College Football Playoffs and teams having home games during the playoffs they have had to move away from Bryant-Denny and Jordan Hare in case Alabama or Auburn makes the playoffs and have home games in December.
Other than Protective Stadium in Birmingham what other stadiums do you think they will use for the state championship game? I've heard they could use the Crampton Bowl in Montgomery and possibly even the University of South Alabama stadium in Mobile. Also heard they may use Troy's stadium or possible even Jacksonville State's stadium.
So since two of the stadiums they used in the rotation are off the table what other stadiums do you think they may use? My opinion on this is while Protective Stadium is way newer than any other stadium I would say use the Crampton Bowl in Montgomery as it would be almost the half way point for any teams from north Alabama or South Alabama.
